The General Counsel of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, says he knows a name that could change Nigeria for the better.
Saying this on his Facebook page, which posted a picture of himself with the caption – Jesus.
“I know a word that can change the current state of Nigeria for the better,” he wrote.
His remarks came hours after he responded to the assassination of parishioners at St. Francis, Owo in the province of Ondo.
PUNCH reported that gunmen stormed the church, killing at least 40 parishioners in a Sunday service.
Adeboye on his Facebook page on Tuesday, expressed his grief over the attack, saying that all souls are important before God.
He wrote, “My heart goes out to all of you who have been affected by this malady. I can’t hold back the evil that motivates one person to take another’s life intentionally.
“All souls are precious in God’s sight, and I know that you have greatly offended me. I pray that God will send such greetings again. And may Nigeria never again be so bloody.
