He said he was committed to the job because he had the priorities that would make him the most effective and efficient President of Nigeria.

Lawan said, “I stand here before you to tell you why I believe I have what I need. Socialism, politics, and education are the key to becoming the most successful and successful President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria after President Muhammadu Buhari has resigned.

“For me, I do not belong to any nation or ethnic group. In fact, I have always looked forward to the best in any part of Nigeria. So just because I came to this position and because I come from the North should not be an excuse to say that a person from another part of the country, for example, from the southern part of the country, cannot be President.

“I present the information I have, with great humility the training needed, the knowledge required, and the network and links across the country to make Nigeria great.”

The President of the Senate also noted that the race for the presidency of Nigeria should be a competition of ideas and not a race of people.
