APC member Moshood Adegoke Salvador, the chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos, has decamped from his political group Conscience Forum to the Labor Party (LP) in the state.
Salvador, a former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairman, led a parallel state congress last year that was not recognized by the APC leadership at the national level.
Since his efforts to become the APC flagbearer in respect of the 2023 election ended in futility, reports have emerged that he has been adopted as the governorship candidate for Labour Party in Lagos state.
Salvador had announced to his members the collapse of the Conscience Forum into the Labour Party as well as his ‘endorsement’ as the governorship candidate.
“I am delighted to announce that the Conscience Forum structure has been accepted by the Labor Party,” a statement from his media team said.
“This is the biggest opportunity to regain our political relevance, recognition and advantages that were lost in APC.
If you’re interested in contesting for reps, assembly, or senate, office is opened at Salvador towers to meet the state chairman and complete your INEC form.”
