Maintain govt estates, Lagos state govt urges homeowners

The Lagos Regional Government has provided new homeowners with keys and housing documents at Babatunde Olushola Benson Estate, Ibeshe, and LagosHOMS Sangotedo Phase I Estate.

According to a statement on Monday, the announcement was made by the state housing commissioner, Mr Moruf Akinderu-Fatai.

The commissioner was quoted as urging new homeowners to ensure that the two state-owned land tenure was properly maintained and maintained.

“It is important to remember the need to keep diverse homes and heritage in good condition in order to fully achieve the goal of making Lagos 21st Century Economy,” he said.

The commissioner said the area was equipped with modern infrastructure such as good roads, canals, sanitation facilities to make life easier and easier for all new residents in line with the instructions of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. .

“These institutions are well compared to others in the more civilized parts of the world and will make the dream of a dignified life come true for the Lagosians as promised by the Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu,” the commissioner said.

He revealed that the government has appointed qualified organizations to serve as executives of the estate.

The commissioner said, “It is now the responsibility of the new citizens to work with the elected management of government institutions to maintain the living quarters and improve the investment value of citizens in their new homes.”
