Atiku is the first wish to block journalists from the PDP hall even though some of his opponents have visited the State a few weeks ago.

The former Vice President had arrived at the Plateau State PDP Secretariat at about 2:19 pm, but as he met the press and broadcast reporters waiting in the hall, he repeatedly warned them, “I have nothing to do with journalists. I came here to see the messengers. ”

The order prompted his assistants and security details to riot, evict reporters, cause a riot, and damage equipment including phones and a tripod and a Channels TV camera.

Officials and envoys who could not help the fleeing journalists were disappointed by the behavior of the former Deputy President who was in power in 2019 and have never shown so much anger towards journalists who were on duty.

Plateau State has about 85 national delegates but in the wake of the public outcry, it is unknown whether they will want to support his bid.
