Russia has described reports suggesting that Russian President Vladimir Putin is sick and unstable as “nothing but hoaxes.”
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said this Thursday when asked about Vladimir Putin’s health on a conference call with reporters.
Peskov said the Russian president was feeling “fine” and “is in good health.”
According to CNN, Vladimir had visible cold symptoms during his visit to Tehran on Tuesday and coughed during meetings the next day, which he attributed to the heat and strong air conditioning.
“Yesterday it was very hot in Tehran — plus 38, and the air conditioning there was working full on there, so I apologize,” Putin said during a video conference on Wednesday.
