Command spokesman SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the arrest of the robbers in a statement in Lagos.
Hundeyin said the suspects were arrested around 8 p.m. June 19, Mobolaji Johnson Road, Ikeja.
“The robbers were arrested by the Alausa Division of the Command following a bad phone call from the police regarding a robbery in Ikeja.
“They were apprehended while fleeing with their belongings after robbing their victims
“The items recovered from the robbers included one Tecno cellphone, one marijuana and N5,400,” he said.
Hundeyin said initial investigations revealed that the suspects had worked in the area several times, snatching the belongings of unsuspecting people.

He said the suspects would appear in court at the end of the investigation.
Hundeyin assured citizens that the Order under the Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi, will continue to do everything possible to ensure the safety and health of property in government.
