The final decision a bachelor must make when he is prepared to settle down is whether to be married. But why does he choose that person over the other group of people he might have been speaking to? What quality does he see in that person? Today, Nollywood actor and skit creator Nosa Rex is responding to that query in a new interview with The Punch. Everybody will have a different response.
Here is what Nosa Rex had to say when asked about his marriage, including how he met his wife, how it has gone thus far, and why he chose her.
Speaking on how he first met his wife, Nosa Rex said:
She came to see her friend, an actress, at a movie set, and that’s how I first met her. I didn’t see her again after that, but I did get her number, and we started communicating.
Speaking on what made him choose her over his other girlfriends, Nosa Rex said:
The reality is that I rarely dated women for long periods of time since I value my independence and need for privacy. However, after my wife entered the picture, I realized how much I yearned for her presence and didn’t want her to leave. She is my wife, I then realized. I like that she appreciated me and supported my dream even though I was a budding artist at the time. That’s the main reason I decided to marry her. She supported and stuck with me because she foresaw the future when nobody else did.
Speaking on how wedded life has been so far, Nosa said:
It has been wonderful. God has remained dependable, as we recently celebrated our seventh wedding anniversary. The important fact is that I wed my best friend, and God blessed us with three children.
I keep in mind that I am still dating her and I don’t let the thought of marriage enter my mind. I’ve been able to run my home that way since she is still my girlfriend. My father taught me how to love. The road has been easygoing, and I want God to keep it that way.
Speaking on the best part of his marriage so far, Nosa said:
having my children when I first received them. God provided me with everything I had intended, and that is significant and special to me. I now have the energy to pursue my work and provide them (my children) the best life possible while also enjoying my young marriage and life. All credit for the great experience goes to God.
